
The belt should be long enough to route around all of the pulleys except the tensioner until you relieve the pressure on it. Refer to the belt diagram in your vehicles owners manual or the picture you took of the belt before removing it to guide you. Then go back and turn the nut one more 1/4 turnĦ - Tighten the 2 15mm mounting nuts and reinstall the SERP belt. Run the new belt through the pulleys in exactly the same way the old one was. Start the car, goose the throttle a couple times to make sure its tight enough. Back that off until you get enough slack to remove the beltĥ - reverse procedure to re-install and tighten until there is no slop in the belt. Just pull hard enough and they pop.ģ - Take a 17mm wrench and slide it over the top of the tensioner, there will be a lil nub sticking up on it, you cant miss it.Ĥ - carefully pull forward on the wrench and it will loosen up the serpentine belt.
